Privacy Policy
AdOpsRule.com — Last updated: September 2, 2026
The short version: there are no accounts on this site, no newsletter, no advertising, and nothing is sold to anybody. Google Analytics counts page views. The free diagnostic tools send the text you paste into them to Anthropic to be analysed, and that is the one place where something you typed leaves this site. The detail follows.
Who runs this site
AdOpsRule.com is operated by AdOpsRule LLC, a one-person publisher-side AdTech consultancy. There is no marketing team, no data department, and no third party with administrative access to visitor data.
What we collect
The site has no accounts, no sign-up, no login, no newsletter and no contact form. We do not ask for your name, your company, or your email address in order to use anything here — including the diagnostic tools, which are free and unauthenticated by design.
If you email us, we hold that email in order to reply to it and to keep a record of an engagement if one follows. It is not added to a mailing list, because there is no mailing list.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to count page views and see which pages and tools are actually used. IP addresses are anonymised by Google before we receive any data, and we do not receive or store anything that identifies an individual visitor. There is no advertising tag on this site and no remarketing audience is built from your visit.
In the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics storage is denied by default, so no measurement cookie is set and those visits are counted without one.
The diagnostic tools and the AI behind them
This is the part of the policy specific to this site, and it is the part worth reading. The GAM video request analyzer, the Prebid implementation assistant and the revenue strategy planner are powered by Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic.
When you run one of those tools, the text you submitted — the ad request URL, the configuration, the answers you gave the planner — is sent from our server to Anthropic's API, analysed, and the result is returned to your browser. Anthropic processes it under its own terms as our service provider.
What that means in practice: do not paste anything into these tools that you would not be willing to send to a third-party processor. Ad request URLs routinely carry publisher IDs, ad unit paths, key values and sometimes user or session identifiers. If a URL contains something you consider sensitive, strip it before pasting. We do not need it to diagnose the request.
We do not store the submissions or the results. Nothing you run through a tool is written to a database, associated with you, or retained after the response is returned. Standard server logs may record that a request was made, without its contents.
Tool output is generated by an AI model and is provided for informational purposes. It is a starting point for a diagnosis, not a guarantee about your stack — treat it the way you would treat a second opinion, and verify anything it tells you before acting on it.
Rate limiting and abuse prevention
Every tool request costs money to serve, so each one is rate limited by IP address — a few requests per hour, per tool. To do that, a hashed record keyed to your IP address is held in a Redis store (Upstash) for the length of the limiting window and then expires. It is used for nothing else: it is not joined to analytics, not used to build a profile, and not retained beyond the window.
Requests that look automated are refused before they reach the AI model. This is a cost control, not a tracking mechanism.
Cookies
The site sets no advertising cookies, because the site carries no advertising. Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager may set a measurement cookie where your region and browser settings allow it; you can block or clear cookies through your browser at any time and every tool on this site will keep working.
Links to other sites
The Prebid Diagnosis Studio linked from the tools menu is hosted separately on Google Cloud Run, and the LinkedIn profile linked in the footer is on LinkedIn. Once you follow either link you are on somebody else's property, under their privacy policy, and this one no longer applies.
Hosting
This site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard server request logs — IP address, user agent, requested path, timestamp — under its own privacy policy, for the purpose of serving and securing the site.
Children
AdOpsRule.com is a business-to-business consultancy site intended for advertising and publishing professionals. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not process it for cross-context behavioural advertising. Because we hold essentially no personal data about visitors, there is generally nothing to access, correct, or delete — but if you have emailed us, you can ask us to delete that correspondence and we will.
Your rights (GDPR and other privacy laws)
We hold no visitor profiles, so there is generally nothing to access, correct, port, or delete. Where we do hold something — an email you sent us — you can ask for a copy or ask for it to be removed, and we will act on it.

Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Any change to what the tools send, or to what is measured, is made in the same release as the wording that describes it.

Questions about this policy, or a request about data you have sent us, go to the same address as everything else. The contact page has the detail; the button below opens your mail client directly.
